My 82' mini has got drums all round under 10" wheels, i want better braking while i use the car over winter but cant afford to go cooper s set up 'yet'. So i want to stick on some 8.4 disks and 12" wheels.
What do i need to get from a donner car to fit them?
hubs, cv's, shafts.....etc???

Im changing my wheels for 10 inch ones so I have all the parts I don't need. Including 4 12 inch steel wheels and tyres, calipers, discs and pads.

8.4 disks? how much would you want for the lot?
I will be going back to 10's next year when the car isnt my daily runner, with either cooper s or KAD setup

You will need...
Drive shafts, outer CV's, Hub carriers, Calipers, disks, drive flange, flexible brake line and wheels ( and nuts ! )
so basically everything from an 8.4 setup from the gearbox outward.
I your using Jam's stuff you will still need Drive Shafts, outer CV's and hub carriers.. or the most expensive bits of the conversion :cheese:
For a 1/2 decent 8.4 setup you should be looking at about 50 notes, probably need a clean, new pads and disk, but I would expect the ball joints, wheel bearings, calipers and CV's to be ok.

find a scrapped car at your local scrappy and take the entire front hubs off including the drveshafts! should cost arount £50 for a reasonable set
