There may be a couple of Trent Valley MOCers who'll be coming along to this. The date's in my diary, so I'll definitely be there

Is it too early to get dressed up I ask myself

Ding dong merrily on high and see you soon

Retford, Ollerton, Burnt Stump (Pub) & Belper (Mill) are meeting points & we will try our best to keep on time.
If anybody wants to join in along the way but not at the meeting points if they contact me I will inform them of the route to be taken so they can wait for us and join the back of the convoy as we pass.
We will have 1 Mini that is designated to rear gunner with radio comunication to the lead car if you join behind that car he will probably indicate over to let you pass him.
Buxton Dome
I have arranged special parking for our Minis and have a contact number to arrange for security to let us in so if you have not joined the convoy before we arrive you may not get parked.
We will then take a short tour of the Dome (It was until a few years ago the largest unsupported Dome in the world until the Americans had to do 1 bigger)
On arrival at the Cheshire Cheese Inn (pre booked 20 up to date) most of us will be having a meal but it is not compulsory to have a meal
I will be contacting the Cheshire Cheese Inn after departing the Burnt Stump to advise them on the number of people dinning so if you are wanting to book a meal it will help if you can advise me before hand.
Please note No food will be provided by the clubs
After the meals a prize will be awarded to the best Christmas decorated Mini
The landlord has agreed to Judge the decorated minis.
Then all being well Approx 16.30 dependant on how strong Rudolph & his mates are feeling Santa will arrive with a bulging sack of presents for the minis.
We would like 1 proud parent of each mini to sit on Santa's knee tell him what their Mini would like for Christmas and collect the gifts Santa has brought along.
It will all be a bit of light hearted fun and our aim is to do what minis do best.
Make people Smile

Who told you that then? Mrs is from Castleton, I met her when she lived there and can safely say that the lights have got less and less each year for the past 20 odd years

Nevermind, like you say, just an excuse to show off the minis eh?

See you Sunday

ps I would like a boot liner kit for my mini as its' boot looks ever so bare

Just to let you know we will not be using the A515 to get to Buxton from Ashbourne
We will be heading towards Leek on the A52 then turning right passing through Ilam Hope Alstonafield Hulme End Joining the B5053 eventualy joining the A515 just outside Buxton
I want to take the run on mini friendly back roads and see some diffrent views.
The Monument at Ilam would be a good place to wait
I hope this helps
