could be mk4 or mk5..theres a subtle difference beetween them..

My '88 Designer is a MK5 so yours must also certainly be aswell (i will check)

mk4 ended in 84 and mk5 ended in late 89, when is your car first registered??

January i think i need to no as i need to order front panels and some one told me it what a mk3 but i wasnt sure

its a mk5 then! most components and body parts are from the mk3 anyway (carbed model, injection models some components are different)

in found this out a few months ago aswell, orders from minispares and that say MK3 onwards i definately know this of the a panels, a posts and floor pans
