I need to replace the drivers A-panel, both wings and bonnet on my car so would getting a fiberglass flip-front be better than replacing it all with metal panels?
I know it would be cheaper and not rust in the future but how does the weight difference change the handling etc??
What advantages does the fiberglass have over the metal components or vice-verca?
Do the fiberglass panels have problems with cracking paint after time?
If you built a car with a fiberglass body shell would that be classed as a new car? Or would you have to purchase an old car wit a V5C and use it's identity?

As a material fibreglass wins hands down, the only reason the main car manufacturers don't use it is production costs because it's labour intensive - and it doesn't rust.
