I am in the market to buy a new RC40.

Just seen a few online.

Minisport have the Fletcher & Maniflow, John Speed have teh Sportex and there is also the Playmini one

Anyone got any recomendations?

I want something that will compliment my Stage 3, 1.5.1 rockers, Sw5 cam

Not looking for a LOUD zaust but want something with a nice grumble and grunt

Any suggestions

stainless is the way forward, i fit playmini but thats because they are just down the road, and i get a nice trade discount

sadly i am in Edinburgh, so no suppliers are just down the road from me


I was on the net last night and I heard a sample of a fletcher stainless RC40 and it sounded nice.

I am running the decat pipe and I know that this will increase the noice a tad.

I had a twin tailpipe side exit made by Maniflow in stainless. Sounds like exactly what you're after and they can make it to your requirements if they dont have it stocked.

Love mine as its pretty quiet whilst cruising at 70-80mph but has a nice grumble and splutter on over-run
