UPDATE !

Get In Quick because the Christmas sale will END on January 6th when prices will
go back up to the 2009 standard selling price of £9:99 for standards and £20+ for custom jobs.
(currently £8:99 standard and £15+ custom).

It's been a great sale and I hope all who benefitted are well pleased.
Next sale will be in July and around the end of January we'll start the monthly "name the clocks"
competition again.

Happy new year to everyone =]

Best wishes
Monty

Question. Can I be rude and ask for a sale on top of the TMF+ discount?

Do you know if you can retro fit the dials with numbers to a pod that has numbers on the plastic ring??

Need to know before ordering.

Thanks

Nothing rude about that >_<
TMF+ discount is a further 10% so your clocks would set you back
a grand total of £8:10 (call it eight quid) !
Just PM me with the details of what you fancy.

Best wishes

Some clubby's and 1275s had these clocks and we do faces for them - but...
If yours are the old Smiths clocks with a metal pin that stops the needle going
past zero (into minus numbers) then we recommend that you don't try to fit
new faces as dismantling the clocks very often (almost always) renders them
useless. The later Nippon clocks are no problem and fitting is exactly the same
as per our video on the website.

Also monty do you have any of those little clock you were gonna start selling laying around? Only I would like one and I also wondered if it was possible to have a face made of those to match the speedo faces.

Oh I so wish I had those electric clocks !
I was never able to get a half decent deal from the manufacturer.

We are starting to do ancillary gauges though - volts, amps, temp etc for the
old Smiths Gauges having just done this yellow set for a bespoke interior.
Should be launching in the new year as sets to match the clock face designs on the website
but if you need them for Xmas let me know.

Best wishes
Monty

Monty,

These are the clocks i have in my mini - what would you advise?

I like the idea of the 'Mr Bridger' dials - can you invert the colurs? As I have blue LED bulbs and think they would light up white/ivory better than black?

Let me know what you can do - i would also be interested in some Tim volt/oil/temp gauge faces to match at a later date.

Can't really tell from the picture but they look like Nippons so I'd say you'll be fine having the needle off.
(which you need to do to fit new faces).
The way to discover is just to look at the back of the clocks - it will be obvious if they are electronic because at the back
there will be a big old fashioned printed circuit.
If they turn out to be 100% mechanical then leave well alone.

If all is well then YES we can do you a set of Mr Bridger with inverted colours.
Let me know and I'll do some proofs for you of a set of inverted Mr Bridger which will be truly unique !
(probably have to charge you for a bespoke job though - but with the Christmas sale that shouldn't hurt too much) !

Best wishes
Monty

They are Smiths Clocks that were on Minis from 1969-1992 or there abouts starting on the clubmans then appeared on round fronted Minis from 1979 on the 1100 special before becomming commonplace on most Minis in the early 80,s :D
When the 998 was dropped and all the 1275,s got nippon clocks instead
