mini is now back home after being painted!

Today we had the call to let us know the mini is ready to come home

Anyway, I'll let the pictures do the explaining

This is when we arrived down at Blakehill, after wrapping the doors in bubble wrap and loading them into our car, we pushed the mini outside, and onto Spenner's trailer.

Succes, all strapped down and secured on the trailer

Thanks Spenner, appreciate the towing mate

Yet more proof of Spenner's expert towing skills.

After about 20 minutes or so, we finally arrived back to my house.

Then proceeded to offload the mini, and push it onto the driveway for some pictures

As it is now, safely tucked up in the garage

So tomorrow, i'm determined to whack the alloys on, looking forward to seeing it with them on

Big thanks to everyone at Blakehill Body Centre, and Spenner for bringing it home

Comments appreciated

it is very rewarding seeing the mini come back together, but not nice when you find things that you don't want to find

just sprayed the engine with halfords rattle cans. hopefully it will last. couldn't find any proper engine paint in the colour i wanted, so we just sprayed it

ah good idea mate. i wouldn't do it to mine though
pinstripes not my sort of thing though. the seats going in it are dark red, so they match
what sort classic buckets or retrims ?

It's snowberry white. Thought it was a good compromise between diamond white and old english

Well i had some mpi seats retrimmed in dark red lether with black piping, cream stitching. Similar looking to the mini 40 seats. Matching doorcards too

thanks!
