I've always had yoko's and never had a problem. Although has anyone had these? I'm thinking of getting a set with my new alloys. I use my car all year round and I'm worried about grip in wet weather conditions. More specifically they will be this set up at the bottom.

they are pretty much road legal track tyres the slicket you can get i really wouldnt suggest rain driving with them.

as for yoko vs falken yokos al the way ive had uyokos on my last car prada spec 2 they were amazing tyres.
on the mini i have two yokos on the front a539s and im happy with them so i will replace them all to that in the future

I've got the A032R Yokohama tyres on my Elf and the grip in the wet is simply incredible. Real poo to the blanket stuff. I also drive my girlfriends mini with Falken's on and there's no competition. Yoko's every time for me.

Yoko A032R's are called A048R's in 12" form >_< A friend had a set of 32r's on his car and they lasted about 2-3000 miles of reasonably hard driving, so I guess your looking at 5k out of a set of 048Rr's on the front. >_<

the a048's in the picture are excellent tyres, just fast wearing, i know of someone who races a mg midget with these and a set generally lasts for two seasons, they are the only tyres he can use in his class, he says their excellent and suprisingly good in the wet

The new type asymmetrical Falcon 165/60x12 are far superior to the old directional ones. Much better in the wet too.
