i wonder whether anyone on here can help as ebay haven't replied,
im trying to list an item when a 99p starting bid but with a reserve of £20,
however when i try to list the item it says please set a reserve at a minimum of £50.
i dont want £50 just £20 would make me happy.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
cheers
john

Normally when you want a reserve its for a fairly expensive product like a concert tickets cars and other expensive bits.

They might not be able to change the reserve my friends lets hope they do though.

Maybe if you put a clause sayings you can withdraw the item if it does not meet your selling specifications eBay wont have too much of a problem!

As you've found out there is no reserve possible for items under £50 because it's for valuable things.

If you want £20 and there's a chance it will go for the maiden bid of 0.99p, the only thing you can do is start with a higher starting price.

Or ask a friend to bid it up to £20 :)
