in the last few days the forum is not remembering my password - I have to type this in whenever i visit despite asking it to remember it. It's occuring on all three pc's i use to connect so it's not local - anyone else having this issue???

Most likely some validity issues with the cookies from the site, personally I wouldn't worry too much and would feel more secure having to type it in.

Also thought the password was remembered locally, surely all some one would need is your user name and any random PC to start using your profile if it was remembered remotely?

Mine seems to work fine... strange - What Browser are you using? - has it been the the same browser on all 3 PC's?

its done it a few times with me over the past week and im on Firefox.

seems to be fine now though

clear your browsing history - "tools" then "internet options" then click on the "delete" button on the first page. On the next page delete the cookies and see if that works. if not delete all but this will mean you will have to put the username and password in for all your websites again

i have the same problem about once a week TMF forgets who i am

happens to me but its not a massive inconvinience typing in a word for an endless time of awesomness!

Im using firefox now and only happens about once every 4-5 days

Firefox for the win!!!!

odd, still does it - cleared all caches etc. all other forums are fine - just this one it will not remember me!

I get a slightly different problem, often it doesn't remeber me but it also does this thing where it logs me in and then when I click on unread posts it says I'm not loged in and wont let me log in unti I restart the browser. Does it on firefow,explorer and on my phone. I think I have worked out that it does it if I click to read a thread before the page has fully fully loaded
