Has anyone had experience with transporting a non-running car with a tow company, just wondering what the cost was, may be picking up a project, but it's 100 miles away (from ashford, middlesex)

how about renting a car trailer and doing it yourself? my mate rented one that cost £30 for a full 24hours. it was a twin axle jobbie with a very handy winch on it too!

What i do is find someone on ebay thats advertising collection/delivery who's very close to the pick up postcode and then its normally 90p-£1.10 a mile one way, never had no problems, pay the man cash on arrival. Had atleast a dozen cars done like this now.
