Hi again I have a small problem that needs fixing before the mot due in december when i turn the wipers on intermitant works fine as does medium speed but once i click it over once more to fast it stops also if there off and i push the stalk down to get a single wipe this too dont work they were fine for a while then stoped working then it was all ok again for a while but now its back any ideas? i was thinking new relay? anyone please?

There was a topic on this few days back..
and on the wiper motor where the wire's connect to a little plastic box connector i think and this is what is prone to failing,
and you can replace them
sell them at minispares..but i cant think what it actually is called sorry

Hi, as far as I know there are only two wires going to the wiper motor and there are no smarts in there so if the motor is working at any speed then it is unlikely that the problem is at that end of things. The wiper control is more than just a relay though it resembles a large red one. It is mounted inside the car behind the dash - it could be that this has become loose or faulty. Just an idea.

so far no luck i have however ordered a new relay so once it comes i will plug it in and see how it goes
