yes i know that dont get me wrong i was happy they didnt offer me 500 lol but my problem is all the bits on the car that are worth money are at the front end of the car. if it was a rear end write off i would of jumped at the chance to keep it. i feel as if they taking the biscuit a little bit

yes chris i did sorry i havent got back to you in stuck in a situation of what im acctually doing at the minute once i know whats going on i will sort everything out for you :(

then make them a offer back where they keep the mini and you ask for more money

it's a insurance company of course they will want to pay out as little as possible

as everyone has said, do not accept their first offer, go back with proof that to buy a new one of the same condition as yours will cost £XXXX and provide them with eveodence (adverts, ebay listings etc, etc) Always worth a punt. Also, try to keep the car so you can strip it for parts. The interior will sell, along with things like the alloys, carb, andy anything that has not been damaged!

I'm confused, is that £1980 off your own insurers?
Do you know what's happening over the other driver yet? Look in to recovering damages for loss of no claims etc and more importantly, personal injury - if you haven't already.
