Brake Pipe Union Size

Hi,want to make my own brake pipes.What size ends/unions do i need for a 1994 Mini Cooper? Thanks

They are all 3/8" UNF with 7/16" AF hexagons for tightening EXCEPT the ones which fit into the brake pressure relief valve which is situated on teh bulkhed. This uses METRIC threads - YES IT REALLY DOES! I think tey are 11 mm fine thread, so they ALMOST fit. I've seen 3/8" UNF ends in these metric holes which does neither component much good and, if un noticed could be dangerous as you may seem to get a seal.
Only Rover could design a safety-critical system in such a dangerous way.

Thanks,I'll re-use the metric ones then. I think i would of assumed they were all the same and rammed em in! thanks for the life saving advise.
