Hey there..

I have just bought four new chrome Wipac spotlights and foglights for my 1998 MPI to replace my original rover mini cooper factory fitted ones..

The thing is i noticed there are two wires coming from the car to each spot and fog (im assuming one is an earth) with a plug attatched but there is only one wire coming out of the back of each of the Wipac lights! Are these self earthing? If so can i just snip the plug off the wires that come from the car (the plug used to connect the original spots and fogs) and crimp the single cable from the Wipac ones together? If this is possible what would i do with the earth cable thats left dangling?

Many thanks Craig
