What's special about them? They're black with a red pinstripe....

They've got a normal mini interior with the Jet Black logo stamped into them, but on most i've seen these have rubbed off.

Just like any LE really...

I had one as my first car until I crashed it in the middle of august. It was a lovely car, but the only mini i've ever owned so i cant say much about that. I had it resprayed when some rust got repaired and it showed me that a properly shiny black mini really looks the nuts.

The only thing about owning one i didn't like, was because it was a LE I didn't want to ruin the original looks too much more then already happened (had group 6 arches and 12x6 deep dish superlites.) So i felt i couldn't properly modify it with out feeling guilty. (he used to say before he wrote it off.. haha)

anyway, good luck with yours. nice to see some are still on the road.

My Cousin has a Jet Black.

The paint was looking a little faded so keeping with the tradition me and my uncle rubbed it down did some body work and resprayed it in London Taxi Black with white roof.
Looks the mutts cherries.

They have a cool signature grill on them, all black with a signature in the corner.

My cousin recently bought a new bmw mini as she needed something a little more reliable on the motorway, so the Jet black is sitting in the garage waiting for someone to give it some TLC.

Hope you enjoy yours when you get it.

you should rebuild the red one, it looked beaut, i thought you were giving it a new shell?

the jet blacks are quite limited now, i imagine that a fair few have been written off/ scrapped etc.
there is one near where i live tho, all standard looking that a young guy is learning in
itll be a shame when he starts ruining it with body kits and the like, pshh... youths

i guess it doesnt really matter what mods you do tho, its always a jet black on the inside

(coming from someone who's 19 >_< )

as much as id have liked to have rebuilt the red one, its too far gone, its all twisted and bent, and to be honest i dont think i have the neccesary skills to repair the body, new heritage shell is money i havent got and wont have for a while, i bought the jet black one just so i could use the shell, but its already a real nice spec and everything, too good to use for that purpose, if a solid shell comes up in the near future ill do it, but itll be the jetblack for now, will take and upload some pictures next time i see it, its in gravesend and i live in ashford.

i've got me a Jet Black, Far from standard now but what I have planned for it will have it modified in a sympathetic way so it looks like my interpretation of a Jet Black

its a real shame that shells are that much, just hold on to the logbook and sorn it every year, then you can rebuild in the future when time and money permits

id hate to lose my first mini

didnt you buy a studio 2 or something a bit back
