so my clubby estate has a 1100 in it but i can get an mg 1275
whats best to work on for power ? as ive seen some use the 1100 and be happy with it lol

Standard mg 1275 has more power than an 1100 as standard. you're always gonna get more power from the larger capacity unless you cheat and put a blower on the smaller engine and leave the 1275 standard.

I'd say go for the 1275, no replacement for displacement and more bulletproof foundations to start on.

I quite like the 1098. Its different as well, everyone usually replaces with 1275's

Use the 1100! Loads of 1275 conversions out there tune the 1100

Use your 1100 and max rebore New crank cross drilled and ni-tempered new mains and big ends, thrusts, omega pistons, swiftune SW5 cam kit, stage 3 or 4 head, maniflow exhaust system, 123 dizzy, 1.3/4" carb....put it all back together and you will have a real nice motor..........
