I dont think its as straight forward as jigging a modern car. i seam to remember a mate of mine having to make a frame to sit between the jig and the shell just so it could be mounted to the jig propper.

not sure about the modern laser jigs but the older jigs (churchill/cellete etc) there is 2 type of jig brackets, the check brackets left all suspension/engine parts on the car, the main alignment brackets can be fitted with out removal ( brackets fitted over the suspension parts say at the rear and the engine /subframe removed and the brackets would locate through the bulkhead crossmember and vice versa)

Any bodyshop equpiied with a jig would be able to do it, you get less jig work these days, often if a car needs jigging then it's written off.

You need to leave the subframes in. This picture may be of use..

Um kinda depends on the damage - heavy front damage, then the subframe would be scrap, and so the engine is out.
heavy rear damage and the engine can stay in...

were i can get it done??

I do it in Northampton. - my workshop has a body shop and jig and more importantly a chap who know how to use them!

no damage just changed most of the subframe mounting panels so would be good to check its sqaure before paint.
