my mini started playing up a little while ago would start first time and run fine until it goto halfway on the temperature gauge as soon as it reached halfway then it would cut out and not restart until the engine was cold...this happened a few times then eventually it done it again and this time has not restarted..i have discovered that i have no fuel upto the injectors..but i do have spark does anyone know whether crank sensor cuts of the park and fuel together or just one as if it cuts both then i know it is fuel pump...cheers

The fuel pump will run all the time to keep the fuel rail at pressure. You should be able to hear it when you turn the ignition on, but it'll soon cut out if the engine isn't started. It could be a temperature sensor.
