Hi, Could someone please value this mini for me, I am looking to buy it and just wondering what other people would expect to pay.

It is a 1990 mini city 998cc
64000 on the clock
Totaly re shelled and re sprayed 18 month ago by MBM of Bristol(professional Job)
Body work is in mint condition, as is the interior (Black Leather)
Blue and silver roof/stripes ect.

I realise the pictures are not zoomed in to certain areas, but I can tell you they are mint with no rust at all.
Only want a rough guide price.

Kind regards,

Jg

if it's a Bristol Mini's one my advice is walk away now... I believe they are also no longer trading... ???

I bought a mini30 which had been *cough* restored by them about 3 years earlier....

read the rest here....

I thought their industrial car ringing operation had been shut for 2/3 years now?

Are you sure it was 18 months ago?

My friend's opinion would also be to avoid anything from MBM. He had an extremely bad experience with them, and their 'restoration' (which I believe was "allegedly" eventually found to be comprised of two cars in a cut and shut fashion).

Plus generally speaking I've only ever heard negative things about them.

I believe they are only trading on the internet now, (and maybe under a different name) - don't think they have their premises in Bristol any longer.

Well when I went to go and have a look at this mini there were two sets of paperwork. two number plates, two v5's, tow chassis numbers and one engine number. I couldnt make head to toe of it at first. All the dates check out to have been changed whilst at MBM funny old thing, however the car is HPI clear and all the MOT tie in ect ????

Extremely confusing!!! but I love the mini!

You couldn't make sense of it at first?! Can you now? because I don't get it!

This all sounds well dodge. One V5 + One V5 = 2 cars!?! :)

Personally I'd be be on the safe side and run away, run away!!!
