Been thinking about this for a while now, not touched Spudnik in a while and have been thinking about selling him.
Here he is here
http://www.theminifo...x...c=61488&hl=
And this is a few recent pictures.
If you look at the buld thread he's virtually a new shell(and is tax exempt) and heres my question?
I'm planning on breaking him as his worth in parts is greater than the sum of them!!
-1330 engine
-7.5 brakes
- As new genuine rear subby
- grey leather interior(out of Rover 25)
- Mk3 loom+switches
Utterly loads of new bits!!!(arches/carpets/trim etc)
He owes me a fortune and is ready to be painted and stuck back together(90% of bits are there)
As a complete project I'd expect him to fetch around the £2k mark and in bits £2.5k, what do you guys think?
Also, his shell isn't the original mk3 one and has been replaced at sometime in his dim and distant past, are there any legal issues in selling just the shell and V5?
Spudnik, Valuation/legal Issues!

Yes, you can't sell that as a pre-73 shell... as it isn't
And technically to sell with the title, it would need to be rolling with it's "original" suspension, 'frames and steering rack...

Are the roof gutters complete with small U shape drip holes or are they the later ones with gaps above each seam strip? If they are the early complete ones then I'm not so sure it's been reshelled (if you get me). The only thing different between that shell and a 72 would be the gearchange, 72's has remote and later cars had the rod, so to be honest I would sell it as a '72. Certainly wouldn't bother me if I was buying it.
Dan
Edit: Justs seen in the build post it's got the later roof. Hmmm... can't really be sold as a '72 then, or not to an enthusiast who knows their stuff about Minis...
