basically i bought another mini last week, and whilst putting some stuff in the boot today, i stumbled across a rather large sub thats been put in the parcel shelf, lol
i would like to wire it in, but i think ill need an amp, so heres what other bits ill be running with, and please can someone advise me which amp ill need

the sub i found is rated 600w and is kenwood
i have two jbl 6x9s both rated 100w rms or 300w peak
two 4" alpine type e, 25w rms or 180w max

my head unit is an upto date sony xplod one, with 4x52w for speakers

please can someone put a linky up for a decent amp, (which will let me get the best out of what ive got), not ripspeed, fusion or any of that crap that bolt on bandits use, lol, and give me some sort of idea on how i wire it all in through the amp

many thanks, help appreciated, sam

i have to say, you can't slate fusion etc when you're using Kenwood! they're pretty much on par. but if you want to stick with kenwood here's a 5 channel amp for exactly your budget...

When you say the sub is mounted 'in the parcel shelf' how exactly is it in there? How the hell did they even fit a sub in there? Have you got any pictures of how it is mounted?

the parcel shelf has had a hole cut in it to fit it in there, so by lifting the bit of carpet on the parcel shelf you can see it, and believe me it only just fits, ive only just discoverd it and i have already owned the mini for a week, i was doing some painting in the boot, when i bumped my head on it, lol, will take a picture next time im with the car ( its about 40 miles away at the mo, lol)
