I have found that there are 2 ways two fit the bar!

once teh brackets are fitted either you can have the bar flat or as i have it flat vertical so the bar is visable!

I have found that teh bar isnt great as it wobbles quite a lot, try fitting it both wyas and see what works best. however i added 2 steady bars http://www.demon-twe...p;pcode=C/CCC02, i drilled a hole in the back of the lights and then teh steady bar goes up through the grill where it is fixed to the top of the grill!

the lamps are solid now and dont move!

i can get a picture if you like!

Don't bother buying brackets-all I did with my lights is got some long jubilee clips and cut them so that you are left with the long threaded strip and the little screw. Drill a hole in the part with the screw and attach it to the top of the spotlight (there is usually a screw in the top of the lights)
Then with the long threaded piece drill a hole in the end of that and thread it through the grill and screw it to the bonnet slam panel.
Then rejoin the jubilee clip as normal and tighten it up-this will allow you to adjust the angle of the light.
If what I have just said is a load of rubbish and has confused you (which it probably has lol) just ask me and I'll take some more pictures for you

You can just see the cut jubilee clips on top of the spot lights and where they attach to the bonnet slam panel. Simple but effective. They hold the lights very firmly and also help to hold the wiring loom in place

This is how I braced my spot lights to stop them moving.

First I got a long jubilee clip, cut it and drilled it like this...

Then take the screw out of the top of the spotlight and fix the small part of the jubilee clip to it like this...

Then drill a small hole in the slam panel (be careful as the wiring loom is under here) and fix the larger part of the jubilee clip to it, using a self tapping screw. Then bend the clip round the slam panel and through the grill into the screw part of the jubilee clip like this...
(sorry about poor pictures!!)

All you do then is tighten or loosen the jubilee clip to adjust the bean of the light up or down :)

I HOPE that has cleared up any confusion! Any queries just ask (im not the best at explaining things!! LOL)

you can see where the steady bars are fitted at the back of the lights and then through the grill and then fitted to the car! the bars are flexible due to ball joints and easy to cut to size! Jameswhiles method works just as well, although with his method the lamps are secured as they are puled towards the car while with the steady bars as they are rigid they are pushed away from the car.

you can also see how i fitted the bar from huddersfield - in an upright position instead of flat i found that also helped with vibrations! but try both positions.
