Hello to all. I am a newbie to this forum but have had my 1999 mini cooper sportspack for nearly 6 years now. It is my third mini and I'm sure won't be my last. I completed the Italian Job this year in my baby and it has come back a little worse for wear. Now please excuse the total lack of technical knowledge............ I wondered if anyone could advise the best exhaust system for my car. I currently have a playmini back bit??? which seems to rattle lots on it's little elastic thingy under the car. I have a catalytic convertor which is currently not on the car (keep breaking them on speed bumps!) but have a link pipe instead. I have a hole in my exhaust in the bit at the front so I need to get it fixed anyway. I like my little car to sound throaty and have been looking at a Playmini PM42b (only because it looks good). As I know nothing I would dearly love some advice. Many thanks to all in advance. My apologies once again for being such a bimbo :)

Hi Pingu, sounds like it's time for a new system then!!

I know I bleat on about them all the time, but you really can't beat the RC40 range of exhausts for quality, fit and performance. You can get a nice system suitable for your Sportspack, in stainless too if you're feeling flush :)

Check out minispares.com :)
