Don't normally enjoy sales shopping but had a most productive day today...

Been to Marks and Spencers sale... Picked up a Mini DVD with a corgi model of a Mini attached for £3 in their sale, they had loads in Birminghams Pavillions, also picked up an Alarm Clock that looks like a Tacho celebrating 50 years of the Mini for £7.

Picked up a DVD and Book set of the Mini from a shop called Past Times also in the pavillions for £7.49 and an Oxford Mini model in gold with 50th Anniversary decals for £5.60.

if any of you went on the 2003 london to brighton then you might want to get a copy of the DVD as theres a lot of clips from it on the dvd!

i got the alarm clock, but i took the batteries out because the tick tick tick does my nut in wen i'm sittin on ma laptop. my phone is my alarm clock, and the clock is just there to look good.

did anyone else notice the correction on the blurb on the side of the box?...

''...first launched in Britain in August 1956...'' had a printed sticky label over the date with ''august 1959'' written on it...of all the things they can get wrong! pfft

Its a lovely little model, I had to build it myself!

i saw that was going to buy it for my bf but got him other stuff instead

got myself the little mini keyring to go on my car keys i wanted the alarm clock too might go back and see if theres any left tomorrow

I had most of the Mini goodies for Xmas, but we can't be bothered going all the way to the big Cardiff store again to see if they've got any of the items I didn't get like the clock.

Plus we're now skint anyway. lol

I got the little Austin Morris Mini Cooper keyring and the RC remote controlled mini
