they should pass mot without a problem, because the light pattern is right for our roads, cant see why they wouldn't. lets just say i've just bought a pair now i've seen them. theyre gorgeous

E marking is a legal requirement, nothing to do with the MOT.... MOT just tests lamp angle and pattern... not conformity with legislation.

Along with the big message at the top there should also be something like...

Just because it is not tested in the MOT it does not mean it's legal... If all the things which were a legal requirement to be tested in the MOT, it would take nearer 1/2 a day and cost probably £200.

if you get pulled over into one of these vosa check points they will go over your car and MIGHT give you a prohibition order so you have to RE MOT your car then produce it. its a nightmare they did this to me in my van what a joke hope this help but saying that i ahve angel eyes and i dont care what vosa think because i dont think they will notice

Well the obvious one is if you are involved in a serious accident and the insurance company need to inspect the car they will find any excuse, and I mean any excuse not to pay out.

Sorry to hijack, but can you get NON angel eye iridium headlights? Basically like a standard lense, but with an iridium tint? Been looking for absolutely ages!
