Virus On Laptop

I was using AVG for my anti virus but I didnt realise the version I had would only detect not remove. Seeing as it keeps telling me it was trying to steal card details I didnt want to pay for the full thing and it steal the details. I have managed to install Norton but the scan in safe mode appears to do nothing and the computer crashes everytime I try anything in normal mode. It would appear to be dead. I got my mate to give me XP to start again but it wouldn't do it because of the viruses.
Im going to talk to my mate more about it tomorrow but Im angry as hell right now. Some stupid *melon* in some bloody basement with nothing better to do. I hope he dies.

anything envolving a ipod is a lengthy proccess, I think now though you can just install intunes, plug in your ipod and it will ask you if you want to copy all your purchased music

NO! Don't do that, if you plug the iPod into iTunes and give it permission to sync or update it will wipe everything. If it's set to auto sync you will loose everthing automatically so make sure you disable iTunes before you even plug the thing in. You cannot back-fill iTunes from your iPod directly. As said above you need third party software or do it by hand (which takes forever because nothing on the iPod is named with its actual name). Next time iTunes asks you if you want to send a backup to Apple, do it. Then you can recover your iTunes library directly.
TneMini, what computer did you use to come here tonight?

Really? That's odd, mine doesn't if I plug in my wife's iPod by mistake. I'm sure I've got the latest version.
