I have several hundred viruses trojans and worms there is no way I'll get them all. Im taking it to my mates house - he works in IT so hopefully we can completely reformat and start again. I wanted to go back to XP anyway so this is the time.

And to get on here last night and now Im using my N97 through my mums wireless. Technology is good these days.

'AVG', 'Malwarebytes Anti-Malware' and 'Spbot Search & Destroy' which are all free would clear all the viruses and spyware etc from your PC. Much easier and faster than having to format your system anyway.

At least they dont get viruses

Actually they do, since they started using Intel chipsets they are getting targetted by viruses. They were bullet proof in the past but now it's a myth.

they're apparntly less secure than windows computers due to the way windows updates, not looked into it but that's what I've been told by a mac user, and he said people think they're immune to viruses and don't take precuations

Actually its just down to pure numbers, Windows occupies 95% of computers, so the virus makers will target Windows systems just for success rate. Don't assume Mac's are more secure, they are just less targeted.
