i didnt start this discussion for an argument all i want to know is how the make my car a bit fastr my my motorway trips soon!

also i dont knwo what diff sorry i cant be much help but it is time consuming to change?

Well we have already told you the answer to that, you need more power and better gearing.
The only other way your going to do it is reduce the drag, de-seaming, some cleverly drilled holes, and removal of the rear valence will have an effect, how much, i dont know.

That's why I asked. Either way you have to remove the engine and gearbox.

Most diff swaps requre you to remove the gearbox and change the crown and pinion gears which is quite time consuming.

If you have a 3.44 diff, you can drop in a 3.21 no problem, only needing to change the diff's crown wheel.

When fitting up my 1380, I took off the 3.44 diff and dropped in a 3.21 from a metro turbo. It's stronger aswell.

First thing you should do however is give the car a good service, if it's struggling at 80 it sound a bit down on power.

A stage 1 kit will give you a healthy power increase while increasing your top speed and is pretty good value for money.

However im going to refer back to your screamin statement, I can't remember what you said earlier in the thread, but was it the noise that was annoying? Because a stage 1 kit will not help this much.

Lol!

Best thing to do is use a GPS device (they'll be closer to 100% correct than your speedo)
