ok i ogt and M&S gift set for christmas with 3 mini's in it, its a really nice gift set but ive just noticed when i was reading the box again. "the car was first launched in britain 1959, but the august 1959 is a sticker so i pelled the sticker off and it say 1956 under it
Well the design was started in 56. Someone once gave me a large book from Adsa on formula one racing. The cover photo? Jackie Stewart in a Formula 3 Cooper. Happily for this forum, it had basically a 970S engine in it, complete with titanium rods.

Cooper race cars go back way before that, not just in formula 1, I dont see how it relates to the mini though? M&S have had this error going for ages, i know some people on IMMCC "infromed"(/Complained) About it, you'd think such a big company would do some research before releasing something really wouldnt you
