Any information would be helpful.

Many Thanks and happy New Year

Thanks
The enquiry is complete
The vehicle details for AMX 402A are:
Date of Liability 01 10 2010
Date of First Registration 10 05 1963
Year of Manufacture 1963
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 997CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Licence Not Due
Vehicle Colour YELLOW
The car has recently been repainted from BLUE as it appeared on the vehicle enquiry a while ago (and how my dad had it) to yellow and it now has road tax. So if you know someone that has recently painted a Mk1 Cooper S yellow...

Please keep an eye out, we would so love to see this car now, even just a photo. Was my Dad's favouite car he ever owned. If you own the car or know someone that does, please get in touch.
Many Thanks

Just a bump for this.
The FIRST owner has got in touch that now lives in Australia and emailed me some photos which is amazing! I am still hunting for the sole photo my dad has of this car in the 80s.
Would be superb if anyone knows the reg, or the owner offline or is actually on here?
Anyone recall seeing it at a show?
Thanks

If you have not got a good enough reason for a DVLA V888 form enguiry.......you need to ask someone who has access to DVLA owner records like a car park clamper and some motor traders, etc......
https://www.gov.uk/g...206691/V888.pdf
Also try asking on the Mini Cooper Register forum when it returns:
http://www.minicoope...index.php/forum
or Mk1 Forum here:
of course it may now just be the V5 transferred onto a later Mini or a new bodyshell as a resurrected Mk1 Cooper S log book is a very valuable document these days......
