ive got an alarm on my car, but its not connected. anyways on the bonnet and boot i have some switches which are pressed in when they are closed and obviousy pop up when they are open. are these here to activate the alarm when they are opened?

either way, the alarm is not connect and can see where the connection is but if i do connect it i dont know how to turn it on or off!

the car has a immobiliser which is working do you think that these are connected together so when i turn off the immobiliser the alarm will be deactivated?

its hard to explain so i will try and get some pics up.

thanks alot

yes theyre there for the alarm to know if the bonnet/boot has been opened or not

do you have a key fob? if so just try whatever buttons are on it, just not when your neighbours are around :)

with mine, the alarm has to be turned off to gain access to the car, then switch the ignition to second stage, then press the immobiliser button to allow the battery to connect to the starter motor. sound similar to yours?
