First thing would be to hold it up to the window and work out the sweep & arm length to keep the blade on the glass - the blade will be too big and the arm will need modding. It'll probably fit through the rear panel above the boot but the motor may get in the way a bit. A modified Mini windscreen wiper mech would be a more usual route.

Impulse purchase?

Thanks for your reply. It was pretty much a impulse buy. What with the weather being the way it is i thought a rear wiper would be handy. Do you reckon itl be easier to use a mini windscreen wiper arm instead?

Try using a front arm, I think I'm right in saying that the "Monty Carlo" rally mini's had a rear wiper fitted. I'm sure I have seen one somewhere.

ERA Turbo.
The motor will fit if it's from the right age of Metro (that's what the Turbo used as original equipment, but you will have to make a bracket) but the arm and blade won't. The Metro rear screen must be getting on for twice as tall as the Mini's. Fit a shorter blade and drill and re-rivet the arm to make it shorter.

We should be able to produce something using the Metro motor.
Even by using a wiper arm from a different model of car.
We need to organise a little GPR time.
If you can get down to the lock up we can sort it for for, especially the fitting of the motor and the necessary wiring.
