One thing got me thinking... The 'technical and problems' section seems to get a lot new threads started each day and some of them are simply overseen. Since the injection Minis have a own sub-forum; wouldn't it be a good idea to divide the tech. suport forum further into a few sections/sub forum areas? LIke... Engine & drive train / electrical / suspension & brakes?
We have it like this in a local forum and it works pretty well with not too much new thread popping up and 'crowding' each section.
Just an idea... And yes, I know - this would mean a HELL of a lot of work to sort old threads into new sections - so might be nigh on impossible to do
