Hi everyone.

Is there any "real" difference between these two wheels? I know ones made by Ultralite and the other by Minator but other than that is there any real difference?

I do like the darker grey of the Minator, but havent ever heard of them before. Has anyone had any experiance?

Also, which does everyone prefer (I know its ultimately up to me, but I am curious on other peoples thoughts and opinions) the cars a blue lightish blue pick up. That will one day be grey.
one of the grey sets, or the black?

Is it me, or does the black look like it has a deeper dish? Is it just the colour or does it actually have a deeper dish than the grey ones?

The ultralight ones have more of a deep dish to the minators, the minators have a larger lip on them
Personally i would choose the first ones

Hey there,

Iv been thinking about the same sets of wheels for my mini, mines a light blueish metallic and has black/grey/silver/white roof artwork. I was initially thinking the ultralites, theyre really nice wheels and iv seen quite a few sets on minis at shows and they look great, personally i love the deep dish look :D However, i saw a few sets of the minator wheels on cars at a show late last year and i really liked the spoke profile, they both look nice but im not soon keen on the rim edge of the minators. The last thing now is i think that you might be best off getting unpainted wheels, just silver would suit all your needs and would look alot smarter when you change to grey as personally i think the only black wheels the suit grey cars are ones that are matt black and dont hav a polished rim but thats just my preference >_<

Hope this helps, or atleast alerts you to some differences :D

I've just bought the black ultralites to go on my Paul Smith, I love the deep dish on them. I'd definately go with ultralites either black or anthrasite would go.

ahhh yeah i can see the difference now.

I think I prefer the Ultralites.

Just got to decide black or grey.... I am leaning towards to black as I feel they would suit both styles of car.

Really?! Is that true?!!

I think the black makes them look even deeper dished. Which i like.
The grey ones would go nicely ones the cars resprayed. but that wont be for a while and i dont want to hold off buying them untill that far away day! I am not sure the grey would go with the light blue.... certainly not as well as the black, and the black would be more in keeping with other touches on the car

Black Ultralites all the way! They'll suit both the blue colour scheme you've got already and the soon to be grey... I want some deeper dish wheels on my mini. Might get a set of them myself.
