On a lighter note, I received some beautiful gearbox to block bolts from USA and am going to collect all my sandblasted casings next week
Ebay jobby? with the bolts? cause i got some nice ones off ebay allen key head ones
Yup, the ones from madminidesigns.. same bloke that makes the alloy front plates. They are really nice! Hes putting together a kit to do the diff housing tooThose wheels are amazing - What width are they and how deep is that dish?!
They are 10 x 7's with 3 1/2 inch dish

i actually hate you cause youve got my 2 favourite things for mini's wide 10 inch wheels with massive dish and carbon fibre

Lol thanks very much, it taken a long time to get to this stage. I havnt posted a picture of the car yet because its just a bare shell, Iv got afew bits to do to it and then its visiting Mintec for some welding magic! I wanted to take it there about 2 years ago, but it just hasnt moved as quickly as I expected, so all going well it will be going there within afew months.
Different is always nice. As long as it looks smart and has a good power/weight ratio Im happy

im aiming for the same sort of spec as you in my pup, are you using standard rods ? just been balanced ? lightened ?
how much is the bill so far ? if you dont mind me asking?
i have been contemplating doing it myself, getting either Bill Richards, or swiftune to build it..........
