Or............ If you sell the radtec to me, you can get some money and buy some more parts and even a new 2 core rad

if you want to sell it let me know, I've seen the cheaper alloy rads from china for like £50, but they don't look that nice, but the radtecs look like they've been made with quality materials etc and the things from china look like they've been made out of old lidl beans cans lol

Sounds like a really nice build.
And fair play for doing things a bit different if you don't give things a go you'll never know eh.
The weber is going to look awesome in the bay and that carbon ram pipe is awesome.
Can't wait to see the build progress and see what it can do.

I hope you don't mind me asking but how much do you reckon the build will cost you? It is because I am thinking of starting an engine build with a similar spec and am trying to get an idea of how much it will cost. Thanks.

Hey
All in the engine build will come to around £3500... as all the parts are new.. but you could do it for cheaper than that and miss out some of the items.. like drop gears and ECU and it would be alot cheaper...

A fast 998 isnt really a budget build... cheaper power = 1275

Hey, Titanium core plugs are from SMIL.. they were at Combe last year, nice items!

Small update...

The crank, flywheel and rods have gone away to the engineers for balancing... back in about a week :-

is there any reason for the titanium core plugs? cant imagine there much lighter, and water pressure will be the same as in a normal build...

I tried ally plugs glued in, the reason for ally plugs was to see if the block would stiffen up instead of a thin bit of metal filling a hole you have a thick bit of ally.
