Those pressed ones are great, but not strictly correct if you were looking for a concours finish for your 1975 car.
Mine still has the (slightly battered) originals and they have pressed aluminium bases, with raised plastic (3D stylee) letters, which are correct for a 70s/ early 80s car. Unfortunatley, I'm not sure you can get the plastic, rivetted-on letters any more!

There was a bloke at Enfield who was willing to do them for me but after looking at his prices I'd rather stick with pressed metal ones!

That's a shame- probably because they are labour intensive to do, mark out the ally, drill the correct holes etc. Just one hole out of line and it would look rubbish lol. It's no wonder they went over to plastic, computer-made plates..
