This may seem like a stupid question, but I've bought some Rover spotlight brackets from Huddersfield Mini but can't work out which way up they go (doh!).

They have a threaded rod welded on one end with a nut, the other end is bent 45 degress and has a hole in it and at right angles half way up is a slotted "prong".

Does the threaded rod fit through a hole to be drilled in the valance or is the splayed end bolted to the valance with the threaded rod holding the spotlight?

Seems like a daft question but I'm not 100% convinced either way - any help appreciated thanks.

The threaded rod bit goes through the bumper mounting lip.
The splayed hole goes on the step between the bumper and the grille
and the 45degree hole holds the lamp.

Does that make sence?

I have e-mailed Huddersfield for advice, in the meantime does anyone have any close up pictures?
