I use MiniSpares most of the time, quick delivery etc. I find that they are slightly cheaper than sport too.

well i usually go with minispares unless they dont have it in stock and its urgent. minisport are ok but what a lot of people have found out its just down to personal preference and which you find to be the best. the 2 best i have found are minispares and somerford minis . like ben said it depends on what your ordering????

As above depends what youre ordering.

Though for stuff like alternator belt plugs oil oil filter etc find someone with a halfords trade card and get the halfords stuff.

What will you be ordering? Engine bits? Service bits?..panels?....it depends on what you need.

You if you're looking for a stage tuning kit both minispares stage 1 and minisport stage 1-3 etc. If you're look around you can certainly find a deal somewhere, depending on your budget you can source your bits from different online shops....mix and match so to speak....other places like hytheperformance, swiftune, guess-works.com. the list is endless :geek:

i would personally stay away from minisport. i've had such rubbish service from them, such as sending the wrong parts, (i mean completely wrong not just an alternative) and then taking a month to send the right part out even though they had it in stock, that i wouldn't but from them again

I agree, I avoid Minisport whenever possible. I have built a very poor view of them over the years, visited them several times, the staff can't be more unhelpful.

One xmas i ordered some stuff on their website, they had an offer, spend over £XXX and you get a free xmas gift (cant remember what the gift was). Anyway, i decided to spend more money on stuff i didn't really need to get the gift.

Box arrived, only had the first thing i ordered, the other stuff was missing. The other stuff was out of stock, but they didn't contact me they just sent it out and then another box came and another bill for extra postage. Neither of the boxes contained the free gift, 5 years later i am still waiting for it.....wonder when it will come...

Also, had a lot of very poor quality parts off them such as full rocker assemblies that were severely pitted, same with cam followers and had a couple of blocks/cylinder heads that had those crappy replacement screw threads that come out straight away. I also took one of their heads to MED for further mods, they did some checks on it and told me it was the worst quality head they had ever seen!

Minispares have been great with helping to keep our 2 minis running. Friendly and efficient.

Avoid Minisport, not so much for their products, its just the attitude and customer service.

i've used minisport twice and never again... first time half the bits were missing and got charged extra postage when the rest of the bits arrived. second time the exact same thing happened. and in my opinion their customer service wasnt much good...but was a couple of years ago now. i use minispeed, huddersfield spares and jonspeed now :D
