So here is what i was thinking, I could do vertical, or horizontal red stitching on black vinyl, and the lightning bolt would be about 1/4 of an inch elevated and silver vynal wrapped around 1/4inch MDF then attached on top. What do you think?

Yea I think that would look nice, might look better if the bolt was a little more blended into the background, maybe a dark silver?
Also would love to know how you got the front speakers to sit under the dash so nicely!

for the speakers i just made rings out of MDF(actually left over fake hardwood floor), then i just made 2 arms out of 1x2 sticking out the back on the same angle and that i wanted the speakers to be on. Then I got these things from the local hardware store that are half wood screw half bolt and i screwed the wood screw end into the legs and the bolt part i put through holes i drilled in the inner fender and bolted them up. TO keep the whole thing strong i just made a little "L" bracket and used it to mount the top of the ring to the bottom of the dash.

and the doorcards my mom will do the sewing and i will be doing the woodcutting. I thought the black and silver go together well with my seats, rollcage and speakers, and the red stitching go together well with the the body colour since the car is red and black.

alright, I'm going for it. just cut the lightning bolts out. I can see it being pretty hard to wrap vinyl around them, but i think it will work just fine.
