Got fed up of not being able to see dials at night due to poor lighting.
So
I decided to add a few red LED’S

To this
What do ya think?
Any ideas for lighting up the switches
Don’t really like fiddling around in the dark
Any light on the subject would be helpful

They look good, im eventually going to do a similar thing, its very hard to see my speedo at night :S
As for the switches you can get led's which can be directed to locations for a few quid each... cant remember where ive seen them though.

led's which can be directed to locations
Didn't see any in Halfords but will keep looking
The led's I have used were from Halfords
Got 4 in a pack for £4.99 and come in various colours
Not bad considering when I got a flashing on for an alarm installation cost £5 for one

Looks really good. how did you go about hooking them up, did you put them on the same curcuit as the lights.

All they need is a power and earth
Don’t use much power so just wired them into the sidelights
Behind the switch
The top wire is main beam (blue)
The middle is live all the time (brown)
And the bottom one is the sidelights (red)
But might be different on other minis
Have a look with a test light
See what happens when the switch in different positions
and u can get an earth from any were behind the dials
mines taken from a screw behind the heater switch pannel

I am in to modded, custom and classic cars
Have a few mates that I’ve done work for
Brakes, lowering, ice installs etc
But I would rather have a mini
I’M NOT A CHAV !!!!!
