ive got a 600cc suzuki bandit sitting in my garage after it has a scorpion exhaust which means i now have a spare standard pipe. it had a quick look and cracked the tape measure out. the diameter is the same as my 2" sportex backbox. ( i have a single box system) im just thinking "if" i managed to fit the bandit back box would it have any performance pros or cons.(the bandit back box has no baffles at the mo ;)) ... my mini has twin 1 1/4 carbs aswell if anyone thinks this would make a difference

I think putting a bike can on ya mini is just a style thing and wont improve performance.

I personally would put the bandits standard can on your mini. If your scorpion exhaust is a blueflame id put that on, as it'll look wicked ;)

yeah i might give it a crack tomorow dependant on the weather :/ but it it works then the scorpion will be on when i next change the bandit pipe :genius: as for performance i dont mind if it doesnt increase it as long as for some reason it makes it perform worse. If i end up putting it on tomorow il start a topic with a few pictures ;) and maybe a vid of what it sounds like ;)

Looks crap in my eyes. Go for a proven and tested RC40/maniflow set up. Why compromise performance for (gash) looks?

They're only gash if you think they're gash! ;)

Personal opinion after all. How often do people see the exhaust?

as captain jack said, personal opinion ;) i just like the fact of my mini being different and its not exacly a performance built mini so i dont mind to much about a "tested and proven" exhaust. if i fit it and it runs nice then il keep it. if it makes the car worse it'll probably be removed if i cant tweek it

i think the can looks pretty cool, as its the standard one it doesnt have a big end so it doesnt look to boy racerish, the back box jus kind of tapers into a nice little 2" ( plus ive "lost" the baffles ) so should sound pretty sweet ;)

i have a cabon/titanium termignoni can off a ducati 748. sounds good but i did have to put a cherry bomb in the center of the exhaust because with just the bike can it was nice round town but on the motorway it was just too much ;) the cherry bomb has taken the edge off it.
