Easilly done Ed no worries :)
Cheers for the offer, might start a fresh with the dash panels just so i can get the different bits positioned as i want and everything, but am definitely interested in the belts, might be a while before i've got any money for them though.
Good point about the wipers didn't think of that i think it has to be mk1 column, i've got a decent alarm and everything so the steering lock isn't too much of a worry. I'm excited now should be good :)
Cheers Ed

I couldn't find your car at Brooklands. Such a shame as I really wanted to have a look.

Not trying to put you down or anything - but the tachometer up there makes me think of the current boy racer trend to have a monster tach up in that position, this is like an old-school boy racer!

I don't know how i missed all these posts sorry guys been a bit lazy on updates.
So here we go.

Cheers Jake I sprayed the front of the bonnet black then sprayed some stick on letters white and stuck them on.
It's not worked particularly well as the white paint is coming off of the letters despite me etching them first.
I'm getting a friend to knock up some vinyl ones to replace them.

Jon i saw your car up on the banking but didn't see anyone about with it. I was on the P&SMOC stand wedged between 2 BMW MINI's which may be why you couldn't spot me.

Cobra It just seemed like the most sensible place to put it, Easy to glance at. :D
Hopefully at some point i'll get my finances back in order and get some rally dash panels with a nice smiths gauge.

Anyway had a great day at Brooklands spotted quite a few TMF cars but didn't manage to say hello to anyone.
Managed to pick up a boot mount lucas spot light and 2 Lucas SFT576 fogs in good condition.
Fitted the bootlight when i got home and am waiting to pick up a couple of brackets for the fogs.
Think i might splash out on some works style tilting ones that i've seen.

All in all been running great, main thing on the agenda is replacing wonky radius arms with new genuine ones and taking it back to Dave to get the allignment spot on.

Will try and get some new pictures of the boot light and everything soon.

Bit touch an go with work as to whether i'm going to be able to get riv run off which is a bit gutting but we'll have to see.

Whehey! :P Healy's looking great :withstupid: Love the steering wheel you went for in the end

Are you keeping the interior as it is now or upgrading after everything else is done?

Ahh keep forgetting to get pictures of things and let everyone know what i'm up to.

Thanks Heather :), the steering wheel and centre are some of my favourite buys.
The interior is definitely on my list of things to do especially the seats as they don't look right in the grey.
Having a few thoughts about the direction of the interior and everything. Thinking of stripping him out a bit.
Do a bit of weight saving :)

Went a bit mental on ebay this month and bought a rally/sprint spec cylinder head and a weber 45 on a janspeed manifold.
Will be a while before i put the weber on though as it's going to take a bit longer than expected to get all the bits together for the spec of engine i'm looking to build. Might try and pick up some 1.5 rockers togo on with the head for the moment maybe cam it too. No doubt i'll get carried away with it all.

All being well i'm going to be at Beaulieu in a couple of weeks so hopefully see some of you there.
