May well be interested, once money has replenished a bit haha
Wallets taken a bashing recently and i've got scrape some money together to get my geometry set up properly aswell.
Got a few bits done today popped into B&Q and got another bolster chisel to try and get my pot joints out.
Was a half success got one out the other just isn't going anywhere so tomorrow's job is going to be fabricating a tool.
Luckily the one that came out was the one which was right by the manifold so i popped the new one in and put the new manifold on. Looks much better than the old one and the fit is much better clears the CV beautifully.
Hopefully i'll be able to get the other pot joint out tomorrow and start building the suspension and hubs back up.
The steering wheel arrived today looks gorgeous there is some hairline cracking on the badge but still looks awesome.
Will wait until everything is set up to fit it so that i know it's on straight.

liking the manifold, and a good call on the white wheels, body colour arches is a must!

I'm guessing they slide about quite a bit.
May have to try and find some kangol fixed belts.
Yeah the manifold looks really nice especially compared to the old one.
The sizing and everything seems to make a lot of sense for getting a good flow.
Yeah I think body coloured definitely has to be the way to go on the arches.
And with the white wheels it should all go together nicely.
Can't wait to get it back together.
Made some rough templates this evening to get an idea of how much metal i'm going to need to put back into the arches so i'll speak to metal supermarket tomorrow and see if i can pick it up wednesday. Hopefully get it all cut ready to weld on over the weekend.
Also hopefully borrowing a pot joint removal tool tomorrow so that means no more obstacles to get in the way of progress.
Might be pushing it to get it all done by next sunday but we'll see.

Wheels are fully stripped now ready for a bit of smoothing and then paint.
Spoke to metal supermarket today and will be picking up the steel tomorrow.
New bootlid has been ordered it's a double skin fibreglass mk1 lid.
Also ordered the plate holder, hinges and light and few other little bits.
Can't wait to see it.
Tomorrow i will hopefully get the wheels ready for top coat.
Might get the rear arches ready to go on and paint them up aswell.
Not managed to borrow the pot joint removal tool yet hopefully pick it up friday.
Hopefully then should be able to get everything finished soon enough.

Went out to the shed to get some pictures of the wheels in primer.
The door wouldn't open which i though was a bit odd lo and behold my wheels are on the floor.
No idea they found their way from the side where i left them onto the floor.
Needless to say the primer took a bit of a bashing tried to take some pictures but none of them have come out properly.
Here's a couple anyway as i said i'd put some up.

Hopefully get some better photo's tomorrow with the primer replaced.
Picked up the steel this afternoon and a spot weld drill bit.
Will get on with cutting the steel tomorrow ready to weld on over the weekend.
Can't wait to get the metal back where it should be.
Exciting times.
