I think i might have to use your spay booth idea. How did you got about stripping your alloys back? i was thinking of using some nitromors to strip down my mamba's then once there nice primed spray them transit van white lol.

Wheels just need another coat of laquer and they'll be ready for tyres
will get some pictures of them tomorrow as it's got a bit dark all of a sudden.
Started drilling the holes in the boot.
Hopefully tomorrow the rain will hold off and i can get the front arches welded up.
And will take some pictures to show what i've done there.
Looking forward to seeing your mini finished.

Cheers mate,
I got the green house from B&Q for £40 works well with a heater keeps the temperature suitable for spraying.
A proper respirator is a must though as it's pretty nasty in there, also would probably recommend a set of disposeable overals or you come out stinking of paint fumes.
I used nitromors to strip the wheesl all but one of mine were really stubborn took loads of work with a small wire brush, but the other one the paint just lifted off no problem at all. Sounds very nice mate i stripped them then etch primer, filler primer, white primer, top coat then laquer obviously sanding as required in between. Took ages as painting i did the wheel inside and out, and could only do one side of each wheel at a time. Someone i know has got mambas in white and they look awesome definitely a good look. Look forward to seeing how you get on with them.

TMF+ working it's magic again though and saved a bit.
Hopefully they'll be worth the extra cash.
you can't tell from the pictures but the grooves on the back are perpindicular to those on the front so as to not comprimise the strength of the disc.

I'm really pleased with the result, the pictures don't show the colour perfectly due to the light, They a bit look more creamy in the flesh

The mark on the inner edge of the alloy in the second picture is a bit of newspaper that got a bit stuck and will be removed

Managed to start on the welding today got one a panel repair tacked in place and start welding it up then surprise surprise it started raining so that's put on hold again . On to other jobs for the rest of the day.
Looks like rain for the rest of the week according to the weather forecast but we'll see hopefully sneak a few bits of welding in before the weekend between uni, work and the rain.

Yeah the dampers look very good quality i got them as part of the set that minispares do with all the geometry parts and genuine hi-lo's, wallet took a real pounding for those.
Hopefully be able to get some more progress on the wing repairs soon but at the moment the weather is not playing ball. Got a little bit more welding done on the A Panel then it started chucking it down so i had to retreat.
The plan is to hopefully get both the fronts complete by the end of the week, but we shall see.
The rears are just too high aswell which may cause some issues due to the edge of the outer wing being level with the inner wing. Going to have to be a bit clever to sort it without having to weld inside but i've got a plan.

Hopefully not too much longer till it'll be back together
Then i can start on the interior and extra bits as money trickles in.
Hopefully have a bit more progress tomorrow hoping to finish welding the a panel and get the wing repair at least tacked in place.
Also will be making a start on painting the bonnet up.
