Thanks George got another photo thats a bit lighter bit a bit blurred as the exposure had to be longer to get the light in.

Gives a slightly better idea of what's going on than that one but only slightly.
Seems like i've made so much progress in the past week, think it's just the fact that it's been things that involve putting things back on and making him look like a car again.

Nope I haven't got the badge yet. I was planning on picking one up when I get my grill but thats even better.

The OEW wheels look mint. I cant wait to get my OEW steels to go on mine. I have a feeling their gonna be hard to keep clean though.

Are you going to brooklands at all? You could pick it up then if you are.
Thanks, really happy with the wheels think it was one of the best decisions i've made thus far.

Well, so nearly there now just got to sort the tracking properly, nearly there just got to check everything over after that then should be able to go out for a drive. Started him today so i could move hm and for the first time in so long, i'd forgotten how loud he is :dontgetit:

Here's a few pictures, sitting a bit high and wheels look odd because it hadn't been moved at that point.

Hasn't been cleaned and the paint needs a bit of polishing but you get the idea.
Makes me so happy to see him back together :)
Just can't wait to get out and drive him again.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. That is the sex. You gonna put bumper over riders on? I also love the bonnet strap. I might be at Brooklands. Its my 18th the day before so I'll see how hung over I am.

Cheers Jon definitely worth the hard work, chuffed to bits :(
Yeah really glad i went for just the one strap going to put the other i've got on the boot.
Not sure about the over rriders been considering it will be putting some fogs and a spot on in the future so we'll see when i've got those on i think.
Ah well i'll bring it along anyways just in case you're there if not will get it to you some other time.

Thanks Rob, glad you like it.
Really happy with the bonnet glad i decided to go for putting the number plate on the bonnet a-la 33 ejb.
Has all come together nicely and as you say weather is looking like it's going to improve now so will be good to get outand enjoy driving him again :).

Got a bit of a drive sunday to northampton to get the geometry set up by 'icklemini' off of here which should make the most of the new parts. Then have to start saving for some more bits and bobs as although he's driveable again i don't think he'll ever be truly finished

Indeed it has was :(
Yeah i was intending on going to mk1 rear lights in the future, probably have to be after summer once i've saved a bit of money up so i can afford a full respray too. Was hoping to do mk1 rear lights, twin tanks, and have a go at converting to external hinges and mk1 style sliding windows in polycarb then obsiously sorting any rust that may appear in that time before a full respray in the same maroon :). Should have a lot of changes between now and then though. Got loads of works style touches in mind.
