I've been through enough re-build posts now, I think i'm at a point where I should post my own. So here goes...

After driving my mini around for two years she has finally gotten to a point that calls for a decent rebuild, lots of the body was looking pretty shabby as she had an awful re-spray before I bought and the rear subframe was pretty much buggered. So after a failed MOT, I've decided to take her off the road to rebuild. Here are some pictures of how I had her after 2 years of casual work and driving every day... (September time)

The plan is currently to strip down and re-build + re-spray. I have already done the front suspension with hi-lows and spring conversion kit. Colour - no idea.

:D

So hows the project so far....

I've re-built the front suspension and done bits on the interior, but have only just got round to tackling the rear subframe. Here are some pictures from my phone, sorry for the rubbish quality, but they give you an idea where I am at. Im thinking a gun metal gray re-spray, Im not a huge fan of the baby blue sadly.

Also changing my wheels to some sports pack 13", if anyone the five 12" alloys three on brand new 145/70 x 12 they are for sale for £150. They could use a bit of attention, but the tires are all spot on.

Aaaahh crusty mini's you can't beat them, gunmetal grey is a nice choice i painted some supalites in a similar colour and they looked the dogs danglies.

Good luck with the rebuild.
