there isn't one thats why they are adjustable

there is on the other hand a angle you need to set your caster to, the adjustable tie rods alter this angle

there is a correct length for a std tie bar but for some reason the search engine doesn't do it's job so i can't find it for you.

I know icklemini has posted it up before, you just need to find it..

As per the guide that came with my minispares adjustables.
Standard length is 14 5/16" from the front of the locating washer to the nearest edge of the bolt hole.
Also one rotation adjusts the length 1/16" which equates to just over 1/2 a degree castor.
Although i wouldn't take this for granted even if they are the minispares ones.
Always best to get the castor set properly after.

Yeah tried the search engine first, but it didn't come up with it, hence asked the question.

I was looking for the standard length. Sorry should have worded the question a bit better.

Will have another look, because i remember someone posting it on here before so will look for icklemini post and then try minispares.

Will let you all know when i find it and let you all know.

Cheers

Cheers. That does make more sense.
Not sure why the minispares guide says 1/16"?

squish of the rubbers?? :) :(

Not sure what you are saying here ? are you referring to the 1/16th instead of the 1/18th per bar revolution ??

If the rubbers are "squished" and you take a measurement, then adjust by one revolution then it will have changed the length by 1/18" as the "squish" is going to be the same for either instance.

Somebody at MS has confused pitch with fractions :mrcool:
