hey all can you help me my 1996 mini spi was all in good working order day and then i went to go out in it and the clutch was stuck solid at the top i am not to sure if the bearing has collapsed in side the gear box im not to sure can you help me :thumbsup: :) :P ;)

It is either the slave cylinder seized or the plunger in the clutch housing. if you unbolt the slave, slide it off the small rod, then check if the pedal goes down. Do this carefully/slowly, if you press to much the piston could pop out of the end!

If the pedal moves the slave is ok, it is likely the plunger has seized, try squirting WD40 on the shaft in the centre and working the arm back and forth until it fress up. If the pedal is still stuck, you need a new slave or rebuild kit.

Check the 2 nuts on the end of the clutch plate. They can wind upp the thread and cause these types of symptoms
